============================================== ALPHA version of Lean Against Bricks And Nails ============================================== WARNING! This ALPHA (during development) release, it may contain bugs, and alot of unimplemented features. This program, or its supplied libraries both in binary or source comes with absolutely no warranty! See VERSION.TXT for Version Information =========================================================================== To start Lean Against Bricks And Nails, type: MABANOL.EXE then press enter. The program is still alpha, it does not implement all possible glyphs of the LABANscript language, and may features such as moving glyphs, deleting glyphs, saving projects, using wider staves, allowing a project to have two parts, and stave scrolling. To exit the program, click on quit at the bottom of the screen. Currently, this requires applets to be closed down. At some cases where an applet refuses to close down. You must press [ESC] (this key is a development feature, which will be removed in a future version) Also, you need to press this key when you open up a "Labanator" applet, because I have not yet worked on the closing down code, putting the actual glyphs is the main objective at this moment. The source code requires Allegro Graphics Library http://www.talula.demon.co.uk (Make sure that you get version 3.11) Plus DJGPP development tools. http://www.delorie.com (All latest versions are required) Also, my Magic Tutu GUI code is need for the GUI. It is in the archive MAGETUTU*.ZIP, this is released under the GNU LGPL 2. NOTE! Magic Tutu GUI is also still alpha. You must use MAGETUTU*.ZIP with the exact version that is requested by MABANOL*.ZIP archive. (See VERSION.TXT for details) The MAGETUTU*.ZIP is not required if you only intend to run the MABANOL.EXE executeable. The archives MAGETUTU*.ZIP and MABANOL*.ZIP must be extracted at the same directory! My development directory is at h:\gonkdisk, and I have DJGPP (with Allegro) installed at h:\djgpp PLEASE NOTE! With MAGETUTU.ZIP, I have not properly documented the GUI API at the moment. Since it is currently in the alpha stage, the API may change during development. =========================================================================== Copyright > Applies to this document, MAGETUTU.PCX and FAERY.PCX images, the L.A.B.A.N. program in both binary and source, and the Magic Tutu GUI library code.
